The painting above was painted by a Confederate Soldier that survived the war...it is obvious though, he never forgot...

Many young brave men have died and their widows and families have suffered in valiant efforts to secure Texians their liberties and freedoms. Below is a memorial and cemetary dedicated to these brave souls' efforts. We must always remember their lives and thier untimely deaths for the causes of liberty in Texas. The cemetary below is a memorial to the Hebrew men who gave up their lives for our freedoms. It is the only known Hebrew Military Memorial Cemetary in the world outside the land of Israel. These men fought gallantly for the Confederacy. The South was their adopted homeland, since the Promised Land was stolen from them. They chose the next best place in the world though, -- The South! This page requires few words. Just take a moment of silence and reflect... Lest we forget....

Erected by his brothers to the memory of Isaac Seldner, of the 6th Virg. Inf. Reg., born December 23, 1837, killed at the battle of Chancellorsville, Va., May 3rd, 1863. None knew him but to love him.

Isaac J. Levy, Richmond Blues, and Captain M. Marcus, 15th Georgia, killed October 13, 1864.
